pPreview.
WELCOME TO PREVIEW

Ready in a few steps.

Connect your database, choose your site address and create an admin password.

Before you begin

Create an empty MySQL or MariaDB database and a user with privileges on it in your hosting panel. Setup creates the tables automatically.

Installation code

Open app/install.key in your hosting file manager and copy its contents here. This prevents visitors from claiming your installation.

Site & preview links

The HTTPS address visitors use, for example https://links.example.com. Internal folders do not belong in this address.

Advanced preview options (optional)

A virtual path such as /preview or /p; no folder is created. Changing this path affects existing links.

Hostname only. Subdomain mode needs wildcard DNS and HTTPS configured on your server.

Separate with commas: 1, 6, 24, 72. Applies to new previews.

Must be one of the available expiry times.

Access & connection

Enabled by default. The application and preview hostnames themselves cannot be used as targets. Turning this off also blocks this server’s public IPs.

Leave certificate verification off to preview staging servers without a valid certificate. Your preview link still uses HTTPS.

Optional. Separate with commas. These explicit blocks always apply; private and reserved addresses are also prohibited.

Usage limits

Upload limits also depend on PHP and your web server. Text size must not exceed download size.

Database

Use the password assigned in your hosting panel.

Admin account & local email

Used for sign-in and password recovery. Use an address you can receive email at.

Uses PHP mail() and the local mail service. Blank uses noreply@your-application-host. Your hosting must allow sending from this address.

Required. Short passwords are accepted; maximum 72 bytes.
